St. Katherine's Episcopal Church

Williamston, Michigan

This 8 rank instrument is a perfect fit for this lovely room. Though modest, the room has a very pleasant acoustic that the organ can fill easily with color and dignity. Similar to other Kegg instruments of this size, it has been designed with the Anglican liturgy in mind. It is a fine example of what a modest pipe organ can be when carefully designed and executed. It gives the impression of a much larger instrument than it is, both in playing and listening. It's first use was November 7, 2004 in liturgical dedication. It's first recital was December 5, 2004 by then Music Director Darlene Greenman Ross. The consultant was Michael Brittenback of New York City.
