Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church

Coventry, Rhode Island

This new pipe organ was built for this successful parish under the leadership of Fr. Jacek Ploch. Music Director Brian Mattias owns and operates his own pipe organ service company and is active in the American Institute of Organbuilders with a CAIO certificate. We are most honored to have been chosen by a fellow organ builder for this new organ.

The new organ retains ten stops from the existing Moller instrument dating from the 1920s. Designed as a large two manual organ, we have created a Choir manual by borrowing stops from the other two divisions as we have done in the other instruments with which Mr. Mattias is familiar. The entire organ is enclosed in two expression boxes with the exception of the Pedal Bourdon 16'. It is installed behind the existing case and false facade pipes, which were refinished.

The new organ was completed in September of 2019 and will be dedicated in 2020 by Dr. John Schwandt. The exact date will be determined with the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions. Click below for the stop list.
