Builders of fine pipe organs for Worship, School, Concert Hall and Residence

Eureka, California
Christ Episcopal Church

Installation of this new organ has just been completed. Tonal finishing will be completed by May 26.

This wise congregation decided to do extensive work to their room prior to the installation of the new organ. Soft, sound absorbing material was removed from the ceiling and replaced by hard, painted wood. The chancel carpet was replaced with ceramic tile and the nave wood floors were refinished.  The result is a very fine acoustic which will greatly benefit congregational singing and the choir, in addition to the new organ.

New organ case, freshly installed!

The enclosed part of the Great and the Swell are located in side chambers behind the grills.

The crew experienced a 5.2 earthquake during the installation. As a result, we were even more pleased with the additional structure we employed to protect the organ and those close to the case during earthquakes.

Hamilton, Bermuda
Anglican Cathedral of The Most Holy Trinity

This Honduran mahogany console features carving inspired by existing work in the Cathedral which was done in the early 1900s.  Corbels under the keydesk feature parrots. The tops of the console cheeks and the edge of the console top have a vine and flower motif. Mahogany was chosen because of its resistance to insects, common in Bermuda, and all fasteners are stainless steel to resist corrosion.  Also of note are the mappa burl fields behind the drawknobs.  Parrot and vine carvings are by Wood Sculpture by Spirit.  Panel tracery has been cut and carved by Phil Brown of the Kegg company.

This console and new switching system installation was completed February 22.

Saddle River, New Jersey
St. Gabriel the Archangel, Roman Catholic Church

We have received a commission to build a new instrument for St. Gabriel's.  We are grateful to Rev. Monsignor Robert L. Fuhrman
, Music Director Joe Scorese, and Organist Rich D'Amore for their confidence in us and we look forward to this project, our first in New Jersey and the New York City area.

The visual design was recently unveiled and is shown below.

This organ will be of unusual design to take advantage of the unique and limited gallery space, and the extensive needs of the significant choral music program of the church.  The renderings below illustrate the low, 12' height in the gallery.  The Great and Pedal choruses are in the cases on the rail.  The rail cases will actually be suspended at mid case from structure behind them, and will not cut through the rail. The enclosed divisions are behind the choir seating in an unobtrusive case.  The 16' open wood Diapason will be built with Haskell basses.  The console will sit among the choir seats and be movable throughout the gallery.
